Med fire års mellemrum bliver Nordisk GeoteknikerMøde afholdt på skift mellem de 5 nordiske lande. Sidst NGM blev afholdt i Danmark var i 1992 i Aalborg, og ved NGM 2008 i Sandefjord i Norge blev stafetten givet videre til Danmark.
Bestyrelsen i Dansk Geoteknisk Forening har nu besluttet, at NGM 2012 afholdes i:
København den 9.-12. maj 2012
på Tivoli Congress Center, www.tivolicongresscenter.dk, som forventes at åbne i slutningen af 2010 på Kalvebod Brygge.
