The German National Committee on Large Dams is organising the 15th German Dam Symposium from 14th–16th April 2010 in the conference center "Eurogress" in Aachen, Germany.
The symposium with the topic "Dams in Change" shall draw a direct line to the great success of the 14th German Dam Symposium in Freising/Munich in 2007, which has initiated a great response at home and abroad.

Besides the overall view on "Dams in Change", the focus will be on topics such as
- Dams - "in Change" or "Business as usual"
- Water Resources Management and Hydraulic Engineering - Looking beyond the Borders
- Current News from Policy, Law and Administration
- Current News from Research and Development (R&D).
To provide a platform for the sharing of experience not only for German-speaking dam experts, we cordially invite you to submit your abstracts to the above mentioned topics of the symposium in German or English language online via the conference homepage www.conventus.de/dtk2010 until 30th June 2009.
Full papers of accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of the journal "WasserWirtschaft".
Traditionally, in addition to the lectures a widespread industrial exhibition and a social evening event will be provided.
After two days of presentations, excursions to interesting technical and dam-related sites in the surrounding of Aachen will take place on 16th April 2010.
